Jingli KL-CS5 combustible material moisture content sensor is a professional monitoring device based on the Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) principle, primarily used in forest fire prevention and storage safety fields. This equipment accurately obtains the mass moisture content by measuring the dielectric properties of a dedicated pine stick. It can precisely assess the moisture state of standard forest combustibles with a 10-hour time lag, providing crucial data support for fire risk early warning.

I. Technical Principle and Measurement Mechanism

The sensor employs Time Domain Reflectometry measurement technology, determining the volumetric moisture content of the pine stick medium by detecting the propagation characteristics of high-frequency electromagnetic waves within it. The system consists of an epoxy-resin encapsulated electronic unit and a standard pine stick detection medium. When electromagnetic waves propagate through the pine stick, their propagation speed and signal attenuation have a definite functional relationship with the medium's moisture content. This physical relationship enables the sensor to infer the moisture state of combustibles with an accuracy of ±0.74% (RMS, 0-10% range).
